Today has been one of those days where if something could go wrong---it did. From oversleeping this morning and being late to work to having impromptu meetings that interrupted my already over-scheduled day then to 14 hyperactive kids with no beeswax to make that day's craft so I had to do everything I could to assuage their anxious, disappointed faces, then finally to a delayed meeting with a client who was ultimately too sick to continue. The one activity that went well was me finally getting around to getting a Christmas tree. Now go ahead and ask me when I will decorate it.....
Needless to say, I didn't have time to craft a typical "uplifting" holistic Thursday post. And I certainly didn't spend much time reflecting on why the day went the way it did. Maybe it was because I didn't spend time with the Lord this morning. Or as I told my lady boss, my 2018 is about to be so incredibly LIT, that 2017 is trying to beat down every last day just to get all the ugly out to make room for my blessings. Not sure yet. But either way, let's continue with the weekly giveaway.
This week's options:
2 hours of FREE business coaching or consulting services
A 6oz candle or a 3oz body butter.
To enter into the drawing, you MUST share this post on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtags #holistic #boss.
The winner will be announced on Saturday at noon eastern standard time.
Now pardon me while I go wash this day down the drain aided by a steaming hot shower with my personal blend of jasmine/ylang ylang essential oil Ephesians song soap
(jasmine is a mood booster and a stress buster. It has been used for hundreds of years in parts of Asia as a natural remedy for depression, anxiety, emotional stress, low libido and insomnia. It works by positively influencing the nervous system thru skin penetration or aromatherapy. Y'all this soap is about to set my shower OFF.)
My late night showers usually finish off with a lavender chamomile Selah soul salt scrub (the lavender chamomile essential oil combo is soooooooooo relaxing and puts me right to sleep. Helps that I don't even need to put lotion on after the shower. The scrub leaves my skin supple and smooth. I'm getting excited just thinking about it lol.)
Night y'all. Wrapping my hair up now and putting on some Andra Day.
Remember to walk in your blessings......and for the rest of the week, let your soul roam free.
